Guest guest
I adapted a meaty shephards pie into a soy shephards pie. Came out pretty good. Tasty. You can change the seasonings if you wish. We thought it was a bit salty so the next time I make it I will lower the salt quite a bit. Otherwise it was good. * Exported from MasterCook * Soy Shephard's Pie Recipe By : RisaG Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Cheese Potatoes Soy Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 recipe Instant mashed potatoes 1 cup TVP " beef " flavor chunks 1 cup boiling water 1 onion -- chopped 1/2 cup carrots -- sliced 2 tbsp all-purpose flour 1 tsp salt -- divided 1/2 tsp pepper -- divided 1 tsp garlic powder 1 cup " beef " broth 1/4 cup egg substitute 1/2 cup cheese -- shredded Cook potatoes according to package directions.
