I don't know exactly what the Premier Japan Garlic Tamari Sauce is,

but I do know that San J makes a spicy garlic soya that we like. It's

available in most HFS and in some grocery stores.

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

-------- ------------ --------------------------------

2 cups cooked chickpeas

2 tablespoons Premier Japan Garlic Tamari Sauce

2 tablespoons water

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 Organic country Vegetable Harvest cube -- dissolved in

1 cup boiling water

Preheat oven to 350F. Spread chickpeas out thinly on a baking sheet

and sprinkle all ingredients except the vegetable stock over all

chickpeas. Bake until chickpeas are brown and slightly crispy.

Put into food processor and mix slowly, adding the vegetable stock

thru the funnel. You will end up with a butter-like consistency. Let

cook and serve. Great on roasted vegetable sandwiches, baked tofu

sandwiches, on rice cakes...
