This recipe came to the BakeryShoppe, one of the other lists I am on, and I thought I would pass it on. Sounds really good. * Exported from MasterCook * Walnut Skodalia Recipe By : Unknown Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Appetizers Dips & Spreads Bakeryshoppe Nuts Vegan Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 cup mayonnaise 2 garlic cloves, chopped 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped 1/2 cup breadcrumbs juice of 1 lemon 2 tablespoons palin yogurt 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted 2 teaspoons chopped basil A mixture of the following 'dippers' 1 small cauliflower florets, button mushroom celery sticks cut into strips, carrots cut 1 in strips, snow peas, french green beans apple or pear slices Put the mayonnaise, garlic, walnuts, breadcrumbs, lemon juice, yogurt, sesame seeds and basil in a blender or food processor and puree until smooth. Pour into one large or two small bowls to serve.
