Guest guest Posted January 7, 2001 Report Share Posted January 7, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook * Mexican Chocolate Recipe By :30-Minute Vegetarian Mexican Cookbook, Sarah Beattie Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : 30-Minute Vegetarian Mexican Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1/3 cup Mexican or dark chocolate -- grated 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 2 tablespoons sugar -- (to 4 tbsp) 1/2 cup boiling water 1/2 cup hot milk 1/2 cup strong coffee a little orange rind 1 tablespoon sherry In a bowl over barely simmering water, melt the chocolate with the cinnamon and sugar. When melted, whisk in the boiling water. Stir frequently for 2 minutes, the whisk in the milk, coffee, orange rind, and sherry. Pour into small cups and serve.
