Parmesan Cheez

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1 cup sesame seeds

1/4 cup lemon juice

1 1/4 cups nutritional yeast

2 teaspoons garlic powder

1 tablespoon onion powder

3 tablespoons Schilling's Vegetable Supreme Seasoning

 

Mix all together. Sprinkle on a cookie sheet. Cover with a piece of waxed

paper. Roll out thin. Remove the waxed paper. Put in a 200ºF oven for 2

hours. Grind fine and store in a covered container in a cool place.

NOTES : This is somewhat like Parmesan cheese, but it adds a lot to a recipe

where Parmesan cheese is needed. It is very strong in flavor, so be cautious in

its use. Refrigerated, this keeps at least one month.
