Kreem of Potato Soup

1 cup onion -- finely chopped

1 teaspoon garlic -- minced

2 tablespoons bell pepper -- finely chopped

2 tablespoons celeriac -- finely chopped

2 teaspoons non-dairy margarine

1 tablespoon unbleached flour

4 cups Kreemy Chicken Broth -- (see recipe)

3 cups potatoes -- peeled, cooked & cubed

1/4 cup vegetarian bacon bits -- (Bac'os)

1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley

1/8 teaspoon black or cayenne pepper

 

Saute' the onion, garlic, bell pepper, and celery in the margarine until soft.

Stir in the flour well. Combine everything and cook until the soup thickens,

about 15 minutes.

1 cup raw cashews

4 cups water

1/4 teaspoon sea salt

1 1/2 teaspoons sucanat -- (granulated sugar)

1/2 cup onion -- chopped

4 1/2 teaspoons MSG -- (optional)

1 teaspoon sea salt

1 teaspoon poultry seasoning

5 tablespoons nutritional yeast -- + 2 teaspoons

2 teaspoons corn oil

 

In a blender put the cashews and 1 cup of the water. Blend until smooth. Add the

rest of the ingredients and blend for 30 more seconds. Pour into pan. Add the

rest of ingredients and simmer for 5 minutes.
