Just an FYI for those of you with migraines (of any kind): the sodium component in MSG may just trigger a migraine. Many migraineurs are sodium-sensitive. If eating Asian food, for instance, the combination of soy sauce, which has a lot of salt, seaweed, and MSG could just push them over into a migraine state. Just be careful when using MSG that the rest of the meal doesn't have a lot of other forms of salt. FYI--a lot of migraineurs are also sensitive to yeasts (both nutritional and baking types) AND soy products, especially concentrated ones such as TVP! As depressing as that sounds, most also find that in migraine " phases " they must avoid many foods, while in " safe " phases, they can eat nearly anything in moderation. Hope that helps.
