Add a small amount of the hot water (about 1/4 cup) and mash until the miso is completely dissolved. Add remaining water and tofu. Top with paper-thin slices of scallion. Description: " Instant Soup! It's hard to imagine how delicious this is just from reading the short list of ingredients. But even though the soup is simple, the miso has a deep and complex flavor that makes a rich broth. It is very soothing to the digestive tract.
