Karin, I can't find a cherry crisp cookie. I have sugar pinwheels with a dab and

cherry jam and a fruit " crisp " - the usually bar stuff. If i do see one, ill

Microwave Cherry Crisp

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1 21 ounce can cherry pie filling

3/4 cup packed brown sugar

2/3 cup quick-cooking oats

1/3 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 cup butter or margarine -- cold

vanilla ice cream -- optional

 

Spoon pie filling into a greased 9-in. microwave-safe pie plate. In a bowl,

combine brown sugar, oats and flour; cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over

filling. Microwave on high for 12-14 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream if

desired. Yield: 4-6 servings.

 

Editor’s Note: This recipe was tested in a 700-watt microwave.

Cherry Cookie Crisps

 

Recipe By :Grandma's Favorite Cookies

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

-------- ------------ --------------------------------

1 cup butter

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 cup sugar

2 1/2 cups cake flour

1 egg

1 cup candied cherries -- chopped

 

Cream butter and sugar, add egg and vanilla and beat well. Combine flour and

chopped cherries into sugar and butter mixture. Chill. Make into 2 rolls and

chill overnight. Slice about 1/4 inch thick and place onto ungreased cookie

sheet and bake at 350 degrees about 10 minutes.
