Mushroom Gravy

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 tablespoons unbleached flour

1 2/3 cups Pacific mushroom broth

1/3 cup nutritional yeast

1/4 teaspoon dried thyme

1/4 teaspoon granulated garlic

 

Warm oil in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat for 1 minute. Whisk in

flour to form a paste. Whisk in the mushroom broth. Reduce heat to medium low

and add yeast, stirring until blended. Add remaining ingredients and continue

to simmer, whisking or stirring occaisionally until thickened, or ready to

serve.

 

Description:

" Flavorful and very easy, this sauce is made without butter and is

ready in minutes. Serve with potatoes, rice, or steamed vegetables. "
