The book has kitchen tested recipes - and claim they tested with both. on this page: http://www.breadworld.com/canada/products/breadmachine.asp there is a section titled EQUIVALENCE/How to Substitute Bread machine yeast.... and one of their points says it " can also be used interchangeably (equal parts) with: Traditional Active Dry, Quick-Rise or other instant yeast is dry active the same as active dry?
