Guest guest Posted December 13, 2000 Report Share Posted December 13, 2000 * Exported from MasterCook II * Italian Fresh Fruit Salad Recipe By : Sweet & Natural by Meredith McCarty Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Fruit Italian Salads Vegan Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 apple 1 pear 1 peach 2 cups assorted fruit (apricots, nectarines, plums, cherries, grapes, melon, berries) 3/4 cup orange juice 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest few grains sea salt 1. Cut fruit into small bite-size pieces. Gently mix all ingredients in a large bowl. 2. Marinate at cool room temperature or in the refrigerator for several hours to overnight, mixing a couple of times. Variation: Lightly toasted waluts, almonds, and/or pine nuts, as well as raisins may be added as other authentic recipe ingredients. Add nuts before serving to preserve crunch.
