I actually tried this one. It was interesting. It came out pretty good.

Matzoh Polenta

New York Times 4/19/89

|

2 cups vegetable stock

1 pinch turmeric

2/3 cup matzoh meal

salt and pepper to taste

sauteed mushrooms and onions, optional

|

Bring vegetable stock to a simmer, stir in the turmeric, then slowly add the

matzoh meal while stirring constantly. Season the mixture to taste with salt and

pepper and allow it to cook, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes. Serve it

plain or topped with mushrooms and onions.
