Gee Whiz Sauce

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1 cup cooked white beans -- rinsed and drained

1/3 cup nondairy milk or water

1/4 cup drained pimiento pieces

3 tablespoons nutritional yeast flakes

2 to 3 tablespoons tahini

1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

1 tablespoon chopped onion

1/2 teaspoon prepared yellow mustard

1/4 teaspoon salt

several drops Tabasco sauce, optional

 

Combine all the ingredients in a blender, and process until very smooth and

creamy. Add more milk or water, if necessary, to facilitate processing and

achieve a thick but pourable sauce.

 

TIP: Use great Northern beans, baby limas, cannellini, navy or other white

beans of your choice.
