Tangy Tahini Sauce

1/4 cup tahini

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

2 tablespoons umeboshi plum vinegar

1/2 teaspoon crushed garlic

1/4 cup water, more or less as needed

 

Combine all the ingredients in a blender, and process until smooth and creamy,

using just enough water to make a thick but pourable sauce. Alternatively,

combine all the ingredients in a small bowl, and whisk together until smooth and

well blended, using just enough water to make a thick but pourable sauce.
