My computer's been fixed and we're all done with Thanksgiving (except the rest

of the cleaning), so I thought I'd get the rest of the recipes I have from this

cookbook posted. I hope all of you had a nice Thanksgiving!

Heinz Tofu

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1 yellow onion -- chopped

1 pound tofu -- cubed

3 tablespoons tamari soy sauce

oil as needed

1/3 cup ketchup

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon sesame oil

 

Fry the onions, tofu, and tamari in an electric skillet until the onions are

tender and the tofu is browned on all sides. Turn occasionally with a spatula.

Put the ketchup, mustard, and sesame oil in a measuring cup, and add enough

water to make 3/4 cup. Stir well and add to the skillet. Partially cover and

continue to cook until the liquid is absorbed. Continue to turn occasionally

with a spatula.
