Guest guest Posted November 23, 2000 Report Share Posted November 23, 2000 * Exported from MasterCook * Peanut Butter Balls (vegan) Recipe By : from The Vegetarian Way by Virginia and Mark Messina Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Desserts Snack Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1/4 c low-fat granola 2 tbsp brown sugar 1/4 c sunflower seeds 1/4 c raisins 1/4 c finely shredded carrots 3/4 c peanut butter Mix together the granola, brown sugar, sunflower seeds, raisins, and carrots. Blend in the peanut butter a little at a time to form a smooth mixture. Store the mixture in the refrigerator overnight. Form into balls. Makes 20 balls. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - NOTES : Wrap these in wax papaer and tuck them into your backpack when you go hiking or camping.
