OT : Importing to MC

Karen's great menu from the Indian Vegetarian Feast brought a MasterCook tip

to mind and I though I'd share it.

 

Put the menu at the very end of the list of recipes.

Have each recipe listed in the ingredients are of the recipe, and put a ^R

right in front of the ingredient/recipe name.

Run the digest through Gail's MCTagIt, and import it normally into MC.

 

I find when I do it this way, it embeds the recopies into the menu! Yeah!!

I thought this was pretty cool.

 

I experimented, and found when I have a recipe (A) that calls for another

recipe (B), and I put recipe B above recipe A in a digest, follow the

procedure I listed above, even individual recipes will import with the

recipes properly embedded!

 

I really liked that. If I've reinvented the wheel? Well, just call me

enthusiastic, I guess!
