Chili with Beans

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

canola oil spray

1 onion -- chopped

3 garlic cloves -- minced

3 tablespoons brown miso

2 15 oz cans tomato sauce

1 cup dry TVP

1 16 oz can pinto beans

1/4 teaspoon chili powder

1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon dried oregano

 

Spray a large frying pan with oil. Heat. Saute the onion and garlic until

browned.

 

Stir in the miso. Add the remaining ingredients. Cook over medium-high heat

until the TVP has a hamburger-like texture and the flavors are combined. Serve.
