Sesame-Soy Dressing

1/3 cup rice vinegar

3 tablespoons sesame oil -- (dark)

2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce

2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger

2 teaspoons sesame seeds -- preferably toasted

3 teaspoons sugar

1 dash ground white pepper -- or to taste

 

Whisk together all of the ingredients in a small bowl, making certain the sugar

is dissolved. Adjust seasonings to taste.

 

Dressing will keep for up to 1 week in a tightly closed container in the

refrigerator. Whisk or shake before using.
