Guest guest Posted November 9, 2000 Report Share Posted November 9, 2000 Sorry for sending the mushroom soup twice, I was prematurely impatient and clicked the " send " twice- * Exported from MasterCook * Corn Chowder Recipe By :Estrogen, The Natural Way - Nina Shandler Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- canola oil spray 1 onion -- chopped 6 soy sausages -- sliced 2 new potatoes -- diced 2 bay leaves 1 cup soy milk 8 ounces frozen corn 2 garlic cloves -- quartered 9 1/2 ounces silken tofu 1 1/2 teaspoons dried parsley salt and pepper Spray a frying pan with oil. Heat the pan over medium-high heat. Saute the onion and sausage until the onion is translucent. Set aside. Pour 1 cup of water into a heavy-bottomed soup pot. Add the potatoes. Cook, covered, over high heat until soft. Reduce the heat to medium. Add the potatoes to the sauteed onion and sausage; add the bay leaves, soy milk and corn. Place the garlic in a food processoe with the S blade inserted. Mince. Add the tofu. Process until smooth. Stir the mixture into the soup pot. Add the parsley. Cook until hot, taking care not to boil. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve. Description: " The perfect vegetable chowder--creamy, light, protein-packed, and estrogen-enriched.
