Guest guest Posted November 7, 2000 Report Share Posted November 7, 2000 XPOST: mc, veg, allcookbook * Exported from MasterCook * Gingerbread Pancakes (Hersey House B & B) Recipe By : " Cinnamon Mornings " by Pamela Lanie Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Breakfast Pancakes Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 5 teaspoons baking powder 1 1/2 teaspoons salt 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon ginger 1/4 cup molasses 2 cups milk 2 eggs -- lightly beaten 6 tablespoons melted butter 1 cup raisins Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, soda and spices. Combine molasses, milk and eggs. Stir to blend. Stir in melted butter. Add molasses mixture to dry ingredients. Stir only until moistened. Mix in raisins. Cook on a hot griddle, using 1/4 cup batter for each pancake. Served at: Hersey House B & B, Ashland, Oregon. This recipe comes from actress Dee Maaske, who performs at Ashland Shakespeare Festival.
