Broiled Parmesan Potatoes

1/4 cup butter

2 teaspoons dried basil -- crushed

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon pepper

4 medium potatoes

1/2 grated grated parmesan cheese

 

Savor the Flavor of Oregon

 

Stir together the butter, basil, paprika, garlic powder and pepper.

Place potato slices in a single layer on the unheated rack of a

broiler pan. Brush butter mixture on both sides of the potato

mixture. Broil, about 5 inches form the heat for 8 to 9 minutes unti

the potatoes begin to brown. Turn postatoes using a wide spatula.

Sprinkle with cheese. Broil for additional 4-6 minutes until the

potatoes are tender.
