Orange-Tahini Sauce

1 1/4 cups fresh orange juice

1 cup tahini

1 teaspoon minced garlic

water as needed

1/2 teaspoon ground coriander

dash of pepper -- or to taste

toasted sesame seeds -- for garnish (optional)

 

Blend the orange juice, tahini, and garlic in a blender until smooth. Add

water, as needed, to reach a cake-batter consistency.

 

Pour the mixture into a small nonstick saucepan; add the coriander and pepper.

Stir constantly over medium heat, just until the sauce is warm. Adjust the

seasoning to taste.
