I added about 1/2 t. salt, used part leeks/part green onions... about 1 to 1-1/2 cups jack cheese. I sauteed the onions in part olive oil/part butter. I used one container of cottage cheese (1 lb.). This is so good it should be outlawed. Rich. Serves about 4 to 6. Could be served in squares...or pie shapes. For an evening 'breakfast' or as an appetizer. I bake mine in a large ceramic tart dish. This is something I would take to our family's Christmas party. (Reminds me of a mushroom/cream cheese crusted turnover I buy frozen at the market - which is higher in fat but the taste is quite similar.) Nutr.
