Chessie,

Are you still living near Ardmore? If so, have you checked out Oak

Hall Episcopal School? It has a Montessori program separate from

the Christian program, and it seems great. We live about 30 minutes

from there, and we nearly enrolled my son last year (in the end we

decided to homeschool). They let us sit in on a class for an hour

or so. I think there are only 6-8 kids per class (the classroom is

at least double the size of a regular classroom), with two

teachers. The classroom is huge, and the teachers went through all

the materials, having students who volunteered demonstrate.

They have multi-level age groups, and the cost is decent (much

cheaper than I expected). They also assured us that they would do

their best to accomodate any special diet that our son had. If you

were willing to make the drive, it might be worth looking into.

Shayla, wow! I knew about Oak Hall Episcopal, but had no idea there was

anything else. That is great! I will definitely look into it. Do you know

whether they have a preschool program?
