Guest guest
The Thanksgiving/Harvest Festival note where I wrote that she is not allowed to eat school food and I'm not sending my child to school without food came back yesterday with a note asking me if we can still pay. The $6 covers the meals for the day and the activities that they are doing. I guess I can still pay the money if she is doing the activities. I want more details about what exactly they will be doing before I make a decision if I am going to withhold her from school that day. I'm assuming that it is okay for me to pack her lunch that day as long as I still pay the money? what do you all think? How should I respond to this? Guest guest
Pay the money and pack the lunch. Sometimes we overpay for the things we want, but it's worth it here. Like when I pay over $3 for a rare kids meal at McDonald's for a piece of bread and cheese. I'm really paying for the toy. It took me long enough to stop arguing about that part of it. Now I'm just happy for not having to send back a disgusting cheeseburger! One time I paid More than $2 at Taco bell for a tortilla with tomatoes. A different issue, but if a button isn't on the cash register, people think it's impossible to get it. Sorry to steal your issue, I wish you the best of luck and peace of mind. Guest guest
I've paid anywhere from $5-$6 for kids meals with veggie burger, fries, drink and toy at Burger king in the past. I don't patronize mcdonald's though.. they don't get any of my money if they can't even offer vegetarian french fries. I decided to pay the money and send her lunch - well I'm leaning towards that anyway. We have a teacher's conference on Monday. I'll get some more details about what exactly they will doing and make my decision from there. Renee --- janeen minguillo <jminshan wrote: > Pay the money and pack the lunch.
