Pangaea still has vegan marshmallows - http://www.veganstore.com/

(never used Emes jel, but now say that every other sentence - guess

they had a lot of questions on it!) They're good - don't roast all

that great aesthetic-wise, but make tasty s'mores and krispie treats.

re: Kids (not) eating - it's craziness. And while you can reassure

yourself knowing that omnivore parents have the same troubles,

*they'll* blame it on the veg*nism, every time. Bah - good chance to

practice slective deafness.

My kid is turning out to be incredibly picky, but I've found that it

helps to introduce new things (or things she's tried and rejected

before) when she's having a growth spurt - she'll eat anything then.

And sometimes you're just surprised - I bought an artichoke for

myself, figuring she'd never even try it (and had to listen to the

" but I don't LIKE artichokes " song all the way through the grocery

store), but when I got it home and told her she probably wouldn't like

it because it was a grownup vegetable, she chowed it down. (That

reverse-psychology thing never works when I want it to!)
