This cracks me up! It never would have occurred to me, but I might try

it, since my son seems to be in a bean strike!

He'll scream for a bean before a piece of fruit...go figure!

Amy,

 

It is funny, to " hide beans " , but we parents of toddlers must be

creative, musn't we?

 

Dry beans can be ground in the blender to a fine meal/flour, and then

added to a recipe. Just make sure cooking time is long enough to

soften the bean powder. Works pretty well!

 

I often quarter cooked beans, and for some reason the little guy will

accept them that way.

That is such a cool idea. I am going to try it since my kids, except the baby,

won't eat beans at all. Thanks
