Guest guest
This may sound odd, but my son does not like to have ingredients all mixed together. So I find myself serving him a plate that looks like a deli tray. A section of cherry tomatoes, a section of baby carrots, a section of fresh spinach, a section of black beans, a section of rice or a section of pistachios or a section of soy nuts and a section of olives and a section of fruit. He's very happy with that. It seems a little dull to the rest of us, but it works for him and it's really quick and easy for me. We supplement with Pediasure. By the way I'm launching a campaign to get HEB to carry chocolate Pediasure. They carry all the other flavors, but refuse to carry chocolate because it would compete with their house brand witch tastes like CRAP! If anyone has HEB in their area and feels the urge to pester them you can log onto the Web site and request that they carry chocolate pediasure. Thanks Savannah
Guest guest
Savannah, That's not odd at all! I was the same way as a child and even today I prefer my food on a divided plate so that it's not mixed together. My husband always laughs about it. I have so many divided plates. I just prefer my food be separated. I've always been that way.... TheNutritionNut
