Guest guest
Hey there, saw your note about Nature's Gate. I'm currently using that deoderant. It was the first one I bought of cruelty free deoderants at least 6 months ago and I still have it. It seems to last forever. Anyway, I would have to say that about 80% of the time, I don't have issues with it. But there are those days that if I'm moving around a lot, it just doesn't work. I found that I would sometimes have to reapply it throughout the day over our summer vacation in Maine which is very humid compared to CO where I live. My husband put it through the test as well, and it did not work for him at all. It's nice to know that there are other people looking for that " right " deoderant that works too. I hope this helps some. - darranged<darranged < > Monday, October 17, 2005 7:46 PM Nature's Gate Over the summer, Organic Style magazine reviewed different deodorants and Nature's Gate seemed to rate fairly well. I think I just threw out the issue. I remember it was the citrus blend (or something like that) scent. I want to try it, but no one around here carries it so I have to wait until I can get down to a Whole Foods. I know nothing about the product, but thought I would mention. I'm trying to get as many chemicals out of our lives as I can. PS-- Maybe it's luck, maybe it's lifestyle. I had a mild cold a couple weeks ago, lasted about 3-4 days (hung onto my Mom for a week. Smoker.) My husband caught it. Shook it in about 4 days. My 16-month-old has not caught it (yet, knock on wood.) She has never had a cold. Her only illness was one mild 24-hour stomach virus (that she weathered much better than us... we were sick for days!!!!!) Now, she is on the waiting list for day care eight hours a week... When she " gets in " I suppose our ill-free days will be over...
