Guest guest
In addition to cooking with my own four kids (ages14,13,6,and 5), I've done a preschool nutrition/fitness program for the last 9 years. I do all sorts of food prep/cooking with them. They knead bread, spread nut butters, cut vegetables, measuring ingredients (although only in recipes that are forgiving of a little extra or not quite enough-think soup rather than muffins), mix batter (baked goods made with whole grains can be mixed a little more without losing quality which make them great for using with kids). My sons, the two youngest, love to serve whatever was cooked. Its great to get them involved when they are young.
