Guest guest
Hi everyone. I have another question for you guys. I want to get my kids (4,6, & 12) involved in cooking and grocery shopping. Does anyone have some ideas on kid-friendly starter recipes? Almost everything on the net suggested for kids to make is some kind of cookie. I have to admit-what started me on this kick is all of the reading I've been doing about how many overweight kids we have lately. I'd really like my kids to not only know what foods are good for them, but also what to do with that food when they get it home! I think having the kids go with me and 'help' me with the shopping will also be a good way to start talking more about budgeting. -Lisa
