Guest guest
Hi Savannah, The Vegetarian Network of Austin (www.vegnetaustin.org) is a social group that hosts monthly vegan potluck dinners, restaurant visits around town, and other events like speakers, hikes, etc. The group is once again hosting the statewide Lone Star Vegetarian Chili Cookoff on October 16 at the Austin Zoo (a rescue sanctuary). It is a great event, lots of people there last year with great chili, live music, baked goods, etc. Come! We get some Williamson County folks at events once in a while, if that makes you feel any better--you are not alone! I went to college in Georgetown and know it isn't a veggie haven, to say the least. Anyway, the VNA is full of lots of really nice people. I hope you can come to a potluck soon. They are on the UT campus at Whitehall Co-op. Details on web site. Hope to meet you one day, Amy On Tuesday, September 13, 2005, at 03:01 AM, wrote: > Could you send me some info about the Austin veg group?
