Guest guest
I missed the original post, but are you talking about those little Silk boxes like juice boxes? My son drinks the refrigerated Silk and the aseptic packaged Silk, but HATES those little boxes -- all Blue and appear to be the same thing. He says they are too sweet. We got a Thermos with a pop-up straw -- hard to find! Here are the sandwiches we have been trying out all week. He starts kindergarten next Tuesday. We are not vegan and he will not eat mayo, so this is what I've come up with. 1. Peanut butter -- not jelly 2. Cheddar cheese with butter on sourdough bread 3. Refried beans w/ a little taco seasoning (heated), then mix some shredded cheese in. I put it in 1/2 a pita and wrapped it up in foil immediately. Gave it to him, about 5 hours later and he ate it all and asked for another. 4. Smushed eggs in pita. Hardboil eggs - " smush " with back of fork until in little bits with butter. 5. Tofurkey slices with cream cheese on bread, pita, etc. These are the deli slices (LOVE them, but hate the frozen roast-like thing). 6. Bagel with cream cheese. ______________________ ______________________ Message: 6 Wed, 31 Aug 2005 08:45:44 -0700 (PDT) " E.R.
