Guest guest
You need a really dense cake if you are going to use pillars or that sort of thing. You could use any vegan recipe (there is a great chocolate one at www.vegweb.com) if you use a fake cake for display and the real one to cut up. They might be able to work with you or they may have a chef that will make it on the side. You might also want to inquire at places that make non-vegan cakes and ask if they can make a vegan cake for you. Good luck. If you find a site on line post it, I'd love to know where to find cakes too. > > Mandy <starpopple67 wrote:Hi, > I am getting married in late August and I haven't been able to find a cake yet. Guest guest
Mandy If it's not too far, my friend Dan said to try the Hunger Mountain Co-op in Montpelier--and if you do, tell them that Dan from Wheatsville Co-op in Austin sent you!
