Guest guest
I guess that sums my approach to parenting as well. In the house we're vegan, nuff said. No one debates it. At school, I'd like them to be vegan but its their decision if a little dairy sneaks in. (Dairy is the only variable and its cheese or ice cream. All four are adamant about not eating meat or drinking milk.) We also have an agreement about not including wierd smelling food in lunches. They like to be up- front about being vegetarian but they hate being " outed " by their lunch. Vocal about vegetarianism on their own terms describes them best. Guest guest
>> Gwyneth Paltrow is determined not to be so over-protective of her baby daughter Apple that she is seen as a " freak " by other children when she grows up. It's not what names you are called that matters, it's what names you answer to. Hopefully we'll be raising knowledgable and confident children who take pride in the choices they are making, and how those choices affect themselves and the world they are part of. - Alan
