Guest guest
For those of you in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, this is a great opportunity to meet Carol Adams! This is a free event suitable for all ages! Feminist vegetarian author, Carol Adams, will be at McAndrew's Bookshop and Cafe to sign books and meet readers on May 7 from 1230p - 230p. Adams' most recent books Prayers for the Animals and God Hears Your Sadness: Prayers when your animal friend is sick or dies focus on childrens' natural love and connection to our animal friends. Adams, who has a Masters in Divinity from Yale University, was inspired by the animals living in a Richardson park. She penned inspirational prayers for all animals and the people who love them. Anyone who has loved an animal companion will be moved and inspired by this prolific author's words. Joining Adams will be the Dog and Kitty City, Dallas' only no-kill shelter, and some of their animal friends in search of loving homes. Please bring your children, family, and friends to meet this wonderful author, see her latest work, and pet some pooches. When: 1230p - 230p Where: McAndrew's Bookshop & Cafe 115 S.
