Guest guest
Thanks to all of you for your suggestions!! We have four dogs, three cats, two toddlers, and a (partridge.) baby due to arrive in 3 weeks, so I am also very concerned about the products I use being friendly to all of us. Needless to say, I am not doing much housecleaning these days, but I have made a list of the different options I want to try once I get back into the swing of things. Vinegar doesn't bother me.I actually use it in place of fabric softener in my washing machine. We have very hard water and the vinegar really makes a difference. We don't notice a smell on the clothes, but I also use a muslin packet full of lavender in the dryer. It is the cleaning product of choice around here and does not leave a film. It doesn't smell great though. You may still need to use another product like baking soda, etc for the actual cleaning/scrubbing.
