Guest guest
My own doctor, as well as my children's pediatrician, as well as the pharmacist have all recommended giving probiotics during the course of antibiotics. It prevents yeast overgrowth as well as keeping some good stomach bacteria intact, preventing diarrhea and such problems. I don't know exactly how they work, but my kids and I have always followed this advice and have done fine. I've never heard of waiting on the probiotics.
