Guest guest
Hi, Amy, If your son is looking for a vegan-friendly job, I would recommend a music store or video rental place. As for social situations, we usually show up after the food is served and eaten. I'm not comfortable being around people eating animal products so I do try to limit my exposure for my own peace of mind. My husband is usually OK with it. We each have our own places where we draw the line. I try to find the common ground with my nonvegan friends and family. Afterall, I don't hang out with them specifically because of what they do or don't eat. If your son enjoys going to the movies with his friends, then there's no reason why he shouldn't keep on doing it. I would recommend Carol Adams's _Living Among Meat Eaters_ if you really find you need a thorough treatment of the issues. --Allison , " thebaileysthree " <thebaileysthree@a...> wrote: > > Hi, > I'm new to this group, but I buy Rapunzel Vegan Boullion cubes. My son is very strict, he won't eat regular white sugar because it is processed thru bone char. Quite a shocker for me. > How do you Vegan adults or teens deal with the real world. My son doesn't like having anything to do with animal products. Where to work? Hanging out with kids that are not Vegan, etc. Any suggestions? > > Thanks, Amy > Bill, Amy, and Brian Bailey > thebaileysthree@a... >
