Guest guest Posted January 25, 2005 Report Share Posted January 25, 2005 I tried the garbanzo-oat burger recipe sent in by Gayle. It was absolutely delicious. Even my husband liked it and he is always skeptical of the " new recipes " I am bringing home, as 2 out of 3 turn out to be disasters. The only problem I had was that they tended to fall apart. Guest guest Posted January 29, 2005 Report Share Posted January 29, 2005 You could up the liquid , I guess but I'm thinking that the " burgers " wouldn't cook through as well. They might tend to be mushy. Try using a combo of ground flax seeds and water mixed together. I find that this normally helps bind ingredients together as well as adds the Omega 3.
