Guest guest
I have twin four-year-old girls, who along with my husband and I are vegetarians. They have no trouble understanding why we don't eat meet. It's much more difficult for them to understand why other people DO eat meet. It is especially difficult for them to understand why their grandparents, aunts and uncles (who are otherwise kind and loving people as well as supportive of our vegetarian lifestyle) eat meat. Actually since our meat-eating friends and family rarely eat meat when they are with us, I think it could be quite a shock when my twins realise that the majority of people eat meat regularly. So I am looking for suggestions regarding how to explain to my kids why other people eat meat.
