Guest guest
The coldness may not be the problem either, it could still be dairy. Read on: I looked on a package of a Soy Dream Vanilla Pie last week and to my horror, saw a warning that the product was processed in a plant that makes dairy products and therefore, in so many words, it is highly likely that the Soy Dream pie has dairy in it too!!! I guess the bottom line is: Make it at home!!! - " Jacq " <jacqcote Saturday, December 18, 2004 9:17 AM RE: Vegan Chunky Monkey > > > Hi Dick, > > What I find is that I do have a little bit of an ice cream cough with the > soy ice cream (most likely cold induced) but it doesn't cause longer term > respiratory problems like ice cream does. Guest guest
That is a warning that they have to make for allergy reasons. Just like food made in a plant that also makes peanuts (or soy). They have to list it on the packaging. You will notice on a lot of products they say " May contain trace amounts of peanuts/soy/dairy... " Since I don't have allergies, I typically ignore those labels. It does NOT mean that the product contains that as an actual ingredient and most likely it does not have any amount of that product in it. , " admartin " <admartin@e...> wrote: > > The coldness may not be the problem either, it could still be dairy. Guest guest
I read all the labels first so there is no dairy in what I'm having because my son has a severe allergy.
