Adopt-a-Turkey

Has anyone adopted a turkey in the D.C. area? Is there someplace you can

actually go to see the turkey, or do you have to do it through a website?

I'm in this area, but haven't adopted in this area. You might want to contact

Poplar Springs Animal Sanctuary- in Poolesville MD; and see if they have an

adoption program.

Everyone who has shown interest in adopting a turkey

for thanksgiving, I've personally visited this farm

and its wonderful. You can sponsor any kind of animal

they have there, but sponsoring a turkey is $8 per
