Hi, my name is Kelly. I am thinking about becoming a vegetarian,

and right now I am eating very little meat. My three children do

not eat meat. They are naturally vegetarian......they don't eat

meat, and they don't like it. Last weekend my husband (who loves

meat by the way) tried to give all three of them bacon.....and all

three of them rejected it and said YUCK!

My husband and I have two adopted daughters, Lexi who is 6, and

Mariah who is 4. We also have a foster daughter Katrina who is two.

About two months ago we went to an all organic diet. I did this

because Mariah was diagnosed with ADHD. In an effort to help Mariah

I started doing a lot of research, and learned that a lot of crap

that is in the American child's diet affects the symptoms of ADHD.

So now I've got all three girls eating very healthy and taking

supplements.

I myself am developing some health problems, so adopting a healthy

lifestyle I think is important for the whole family.

My kids are eating mostly fresh fruits and vegys, homemade

smoothies, whole grains, beans, and nuts. I'm interested in what

everyone is feading their kids. My girls don't drink cows milk

either, Mariah is lactose intolerant. I have been putting goat's

milk powder in their smoothies to get some extra calcium in them.

They drink water too.

Since I am brand new to this.....I'm still fumbling around trying to

figure it all out. Any input anyone has would be greatly

appreciated.

Thanks,

Kelly
