Of course. Attachment parenting has a much wider definition than some

mentioned here - there are AP parents who do not use cloth diapers or

homeschool, and even those who do not breastfeed, for various reasons

(being male might be one of them! 8-)). Many AP parents consider

co-sleeping with infants and the use of slings rather than strollers

to be crucial, but again not all. There is a whole wonderful mailing

list out there for AP parents who work outside the home, while some

consider being a SAHP to be essential ...

 

The important thing, IMHO, is that AP parents consider the bond and

attachment between themselves and their children to be of primary

importance, and do not do things (such as letting infants cry it out,

to mention one example) which might damage that bond.

 

A good source for info on AP is the book Attachment Parenting, by

Katie Granier (sp?).
