It is closer to the way things ought to be.

 

It is healthier to be a vegetarian.

 

It is kinder to be a vegetarian.

 

It is a central belief in my religion. [... and there's no arguing religion]

 

It is part of the ideal life described in the Garden of Eden.

 

It is better to live life focused on life, rather than death.

 

The purpose of life is to live; if that applies to me, it applies to

animals also.

 

It makes me happier to be a vegetarian.
