Guest guest
There are children taken from bad parents, vegan and meat-eating families, all the time - we should be thankful for this. However, if you are a good parent, no matter what your personal eating habits are, and you are feeding and taking care of your children, you do not need to live in fear of the government coming to take your kids away. This is an ignorant way of thinking. This article is obviously a hoax. -Julie Frog
Guest guest
Julie, You are not correct in your thinking. I was threatened with having my children taken away 1.5 years ago simply because I am raising them vegan and the " powers that be " did not believe that was an appropriate diet. I raise them well, take care of them, feed them nutritious food, love them, do all the things a conscientious and loving parent does for his or her children. Still I lived in fear for two weeks that my children would be taken away from me. If VegFamily.com has archives of past articles, look at the one Doh did with me about the not one, but two incidents we had with DCF in regards to this. In both cases we won because we had done nothing wrong and were able to prove that we fed our children a great diet and they were and still are thriving. Guest guest
I didn't get to read the article but wanted to say something. sofyea, my girl, has had something called R.A.D. in the past we have had to spend sometime in the hospital. the first time she was still on formula, which I made because I couldn't breast feed. well- they called child services on me and refused to let me give her our formula. she finally got so sick from the commercial stuff and wouldn't eat so they had to let me bring it in but I still had problems due to raising her the way I am. people just don't understand that we do not need a dead animal on our plates. oh- I get this one a lot- " wow!! she looks so healthy for being a vegetarian!!
