Guest guest Posted September 22, 2004 Report Share Posted September 22, 2004 The buns were dicussed on the DC veg list when they came out and someone contacted the company and found out that they were vegan. This was when they 1st came out; so I guess they could have changed them. They also found out the restaurants are suppose to microwave them for anyone opposed to them being cooked near meat. Everyone agreed that they were terrible and hard cooked in the microwave. I had a couple and hated them 2 years ago. This summer I found myself there a couple of times and ordered them with just cheese.. They were so much better. I put kethcup and mustard from the little packets on mine. The taste I hated I suspected came from the lettuce. They actually didn't understand what I was saying when I tried to explain why. This was when they first came out and I just haven't gone back and tried them since.
